Set up UnoLock on Cursor

Use this page only if the agent is running on Cursor. The setup is the same across operating systems; only the global config path changes.

npm install -g @techsologic/unolock-agent # add this to .cursor/mcp.json or the global MCP config {"mcpServers":{"unolock-agent":{"type":"stdio","command":"unolock-agent","args":["mcp"]}}}

Exact steps

  1. Install the CLI with npm install -g @techsologic/unolock-agent.
  2. Use .cursor/mcp.json for project-local config on every operating system.
  3. Use ~/.cursor/mcp.json for global config on macOS or Linux.
  4. Use %USERPROFILE%\.cursor\mcp.json for global config on Windows.
  5. Add the UnoLock server entry shown on this page.
  6. Restart Cursor or reload MCP config.
  7. Ask the user for the one-time UnoLock Agent Key URL and the PIN.
  8. Run unolock-agent register '<agent-key-url>' '<pin>'.
